Test and Drone Technician
Summary
Our specialty is landing drones, but our mission is to keep them flying. We are drone enthusiasts and security experts keeping the skies open to all responsible pilots and advancing the potential for drone technology to benefit society. We are dedicated to the design, development,testing, and validation of our unique engineering solutions to mitigate drone threats in the skies over critical environments and operations. As a member of this team, you will be in the forefront of counter-sUAS (small unmanned aerial systems) technology.
Job Description
Working as a member of the test team, you will apply your skills and knowledge of drones to support R&D and other testing and serve as a drone technician. In this position, you will support multiple projects across the organization.
Location
Onsite in San Luis Obispo, CA
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers to support testing of new development
- Record drone signals and other related duties
- Maintain drone inventory
- Support the test team as needed
Skills & Experience
- Strong passion for drones and drone technology
- Strong technical aptitude
- Desire to continuously learn and apply new knowledge in the job
- Previous testing experience a plus but not necessary
- Solid communication skills
